
CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man will serve up to four years of state prison time for multiple crimes committed in 2021 and 2022.
According to court documents, 53-year-old Dewey Smallwood was sentenced Tuesday following his guilty pleas to various charges of conspiracy, theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle, drug possession, and DUI.
In the theft case, Smallwood and 48-year-old Melissa Cartwright were seen on security video footage trying to take money from a PA Skill Machine at a Clearfield restaurant three times.
Smallwood’s sentence also includes a drug and alcohol assessment, and fines of more than $3,000.
