CLEARFIELD – A guilty plea to a pair of child endangerment charges has landed a 43-year-old Clearfield man in the county jail for up to two years.

According to court documents, Mark Trojanovich Jr had been accused of locking his 7-year-old autistic son in an empty room where the floor was covered with dirt and feces.

A police report indicated that the house where Trojanovich, 33-year-old Nicole Krause, and six of their children were living was “not suitable for human occupancy.”

Earlier this year, Krause pleaded guilty to multiple charges filed against her in four separate cases.

She was sentenced up to one year in the Clearfield County Jail, and three years of probation.
