CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man has been sentenced to three-to-seven years in state prison for throwing knives at and threatening an elderly man and a young child.

According to court documents 34-year-old Zaccery Conklin pleaded guilty Monday to multiple charges of aggravated and simple assault and reckless endangerment.

Clearfield Police say Conklin was sweating profusely, appeared to be paranoid, and under the influence of a controlled substance when they arrested him at the scene of the incident in September.
