CLEARFIELD – A man is facing DUI charges after allegedly fleeing the scene of an alcohol induced accident Wednesday, police say.
Officers with the Clearfield Regional Police Department responded to a vehicle accident at the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Cemetery Road.
Once on scene police learned that one vehicle had allegedly side swiped another after encroaching into their lane.
After the accident both vehicles stopped where one unidentified male driver allegedly admitted to drinking prior to the accident.
He then fled the scene once he learned authorities were called.
Officers were able to locate the man and execute a blood draw warrant.
