CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General has charged a 32-year-old Clearfield man with multiple felonies for allegedly trying to make plans to have sex with a young girl.
Ryan Mayhue has been denied bail.
He is in the Clearfield County Jail awaiting a preliminary hearing on December 13th.
Investigators report that Mayhue had conversations with 51-year-old Stanley Burden of Lawrence County through a social media app about Burden’s minor daughter.
Mayhue was arrested Monday when he showed up at a location in Lawrence Township, thinking he was going to meet Burden and the girl there.
Burden is also jailed and is facing charges of sexual abuse of children and child pornography in Lawrence County.
