
Lawrence Township, PA – A Clearfield man was caught after allegedly leading police on a nearly 14-mile high-speed chase on his motorcycle, and he reportedly had a half a pound of crystal meth on him when he was arrested.
Officers attempted to stop 49-year-old Dennis Glace for several traffic violations while he as riding his motorcycle near Route 879 and Industrial Park in Lawrence Township, near Clearfield, around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7.
Glace failed to stop for police, leading officers on a 13.75-mile pursuit, reaching speeds of over 80 mph.
The pursuit finally ended in the area of Gerard Grange Cemetery, where Glace traveled into a yard and ultimately wrecked his motorcycle.
A short foot chase began, which resulted in an officer discharging a taser.
Glace continued to resist arrest but was ultimately taken into custody.
Glace was found to be in possession of approximately 1/2 pound of crystal methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, and other controlled substances.
The motorcycle was towed from the scene.
Glace was housed in the Clearfield County Jail on $100,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is pending.
Dennis Glace faces charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, fleeing and eluding, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and numerous traffic offenses.
