Clearfield jury finds DuBois man guilty of third degree murder

CLEARFIELD – A jury deliberated about two hours on Thursday, and found a DuBois man guilty of third degree murder.

A Clearfield County jury returned that verdict against 61-year-old Glen Johnston of DuBois.

Johnston was also found guilty of two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

Johnston was accused in the shooting death of 46-year-old Jude Srock in a downtown DuBois parking lot in March 2022.

Johnston shot Srock during a heated argument the two had about Srock having an affair with Johnston’s wife.

According to court documents, Johnston will face 20 to 40 years in prison for the third degree murder charge.

His sentencing will be within 90 days.
