PUNXSUTAWNEY – A large-scale drug investigation in Clearfield and Jefferson counties culminated in the arrest of 32 people this week.
According to the State Police Troop C Vice Unit, a year-long investigation resulted in Tuesday’s arrest of 20 suspects in Clearfield County, and another dozen suspects were taken into custody in Jefferson County. Among those arrested were three men and one woman from DuBois, three Reynoldsville residents, and three current inmates at the Clearfield County Jail. The largest number of suspects arrested on warrants happened in Punxsutawney where five men and two women were taken into custody.
State Police say they are looking for an additional seven suspects as the investigation continues.
