CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield County woman will serve four months to one year in jail after pleading guilty to fraud.
Court records show that 38-year-old Rebecca Selfridge of Morrisdale fraudulently received in excess of $67,000 in food stamps, Medicaid, and LIHEAP funds over the past 10 years.
Investigators say Selfridge failed to report the income of her boyfriend who lived with her, and was co-owner of their two vehicles.
Following jail time, Selfridge must serve five years probation. A restitution hearing may also be held at a later date to determine how much money Selfridge will be required to pay back.
