HomeFeel-Good/EventsClearfield County to distribute vouchers for senior nutrition programClearfield County to distribute vouchers for senior nutrition programFri, May 6, 2022 by Louise BennettSHARE NOW Clearfield –In partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging will distribute vouchers for the Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program.Eligible Seniors can receive $24 in checks to buy fresh produce at certified Farmers Markets and Roadside stands.Residents of Clearfield County who are 60 years of age or older by the end of 2022, and meet all income guidelines, are eligible to receive four $6 checks to be used to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs from approved farmers in Pennsylvania.To register for an application to be sent to you, or to receive more information, call the CCAAA Special Farmers Market number at 814-765-2691.
