CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County’s road and bridge maintenance crews have today off in observance of Columbus Day, but several projects will reactivate on Tuesday, according to PennDOT.
Be alert to road patching work in Sandy Township on Route 830. Crews may implement short-term lane closures while doing that job.
A pipe replacement and cleaning project is scheduled for Irishtown Road in Bloom and Penn townships Tuesday through Friday. There will be flaggers providing traffic control in that area.
PennDOT also expects vegetation management projects to take place both along Route 255 and the Oklahoma-Salem Road in Sandy Township. Flagger crews will provide traffic control through the work zones.
Most of the work is planned between 7am and 3pm, but PennDOT reminds you that crews could be working at any time of the day or night.
