HARRISBURG – The Joseph and Elizabeth Shaw Public Library in Clearfield has received a Keystone Grant of more than $329,000.
The grant money is administered by PA’s Department of Education’s Bureau of Library Development, and it is awarded through a competitive process to help public libraries improve their operations, install equipment, and upgrade security systems. Clearfield’s Shaw Library is one of 17 public libraries in the state selected to receive grant money. The Keystone Grant pays up to 50 percent of eligible costs in planning, acquisition, construction and rehabilitation of public libraries.
