Clearfield County pair accused of assaulting and robbing Woodland man

HOUTZDALE – A Clearfield County man and woman are facing charges of robbery, conspiracy, and aggravated assault following an alleged attack on a man they invited to their home.

According to court documents, 37-year-old Cody Luzier and 31-year-old Kacy Figart asked a Woodland man to come to their Brisbin house to share drugs and hang out. While the victim was at the house, Luzier is accused of attacking him, hitting him on the head with a metal object, and then trying to choke him. Luzier and Figart reportedly stole more than $400 and a Bluetooth speaker from the man before he could get away.

Luzier is currently being held in the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail, and Figart’s bail is set at $50,000. They both have a preliminary hearing scheduled for Wednesday,
