CLEARFIELD – A 31-year-old Clearfield County man who allegedly fought with probation officers and sheriff deputies earlier this month has waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
According to court documents, Joseph Oswalt of Philipsburg will now face felony counts of aggravated assault and disarming law enforcement officers, and a dozen other various charges including resisting arrest and disorderly conduct in county court.
Oswalt remains behind bars in the Clearfield County Jail, but his bail was lowered from $50,000 to $25,000.
