Clearfield County man sentenced up to five years in state prison

CLEARFIELD – A 28-year-old Clearfield County man could serve up to five years in state prison after pleading guilty to trespassing. and threatening a man with a handgun.

According to court documents, Justin Blantz of Clearfield was accused of burglarizing a Brady Township home in June. Blantz allegedly damaged a TV, and flashed a gun at one of the residents while threatening to shoot him.

On Monday, Blantz was sentenced to nine months to five years in state prison.

State Police say burglary and trespass charges were also filed against 24-year-old Reagan Blazevich of Clearfield who was with Blantz when he committed his crimes. The Blazevich case is still pending.
