Clearfield County man sentenced to up to 50 years in prison

CLEARFIELD – A 78-year-old Clearfield County man will spend the rest of his life in jail for sexually assaulting two young girls. Earlier this week, Moses Norris of Westover was sentenced to serve a total of 27 to 54 years in state prison. In September, a jury found Norris guilty on 24 charges including rape of a child, indecent and sexual assault, and corruption of minors.

Norris was also found to be a sexually-violent predator, will have to register under Megan’s Law, and pay more than $7,000 in restitution for his victims’ counseling.
