CLEARFIELD – After pleading guilty to felony sexual and indecent assault charges, a 68-year-old Clearfield County man was sentenced to a maximum of 20 years in state prison.
According to court documents, Willie Hockenberry had been accused of assaulting a young girl multiple times between 2013 and 2019, starting when she was seven. A second victim also alleged that Hockenberry touched her inappropriately several times.
Hockenberry’s sentence includes a ruling that he is a sexually-violent predator, and that his five to 20 year prison sentence will be followed by six years of probation.
Court records show that in 1981, Hockenberry faced statutory sexual assault charges for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl.
