CLEARFIELD – This week, a Clearfield County man received a state prison sentence of four to eight and a-half years.
According to court records, 37-year-old Cody Luzier of Brisbin was convicted of conspiracy and aggravated assault charges in a May trial. The charges against Luzier were connected to an incident at a Brisbin residence where he allegedly attacked, hit, and tried to choke another man.
Luzier, and 31-year-old Kacy Figart of Curwensville, were also accused of stealing more than $400 and a Bluetooth speaker from the victim before he could get away. Similar charges are pending against Figart, but her case is still pending.
