CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield County man has pleaded guilty to theft charges for his involvement in stealing more than $25,000 worth of iPhones from his employer.

According to court documents, 21-year-old Kyle Jasper was accused of scheming with a co-worker, 22-year-old Jaron Powell, to steal 21 new phones from the Walmart Distribution Center in Woodland.

Following his guilty plea this week, Jasper was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to pay more than $12,000 in restitution.

Powell pleaded guilty to the same charges in May and received a similar sentence.
