CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield County man accused of hitting and injuring a seven-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to assault and reckless endangerment.
According to court documents, 37-year-old Jordan Gooch of Morrisdale must now serve four years of probation, and he must undergo nurturing and anger management counseling.
Gooch originally claimed that he hit the boy in the face as a disciplinary measure in September 2022.
The young boy reportedly suffered a bloody nose, black eye, two chipped teeth, and a swollen lip due to Gooch’s assault.
