CLEARFIELD – The case of a Clearfield man who was caught allegedly trying to meet a 15-year-old boy for sex will be heard in Clearfield County Court.
Charges of attempted corruption of a minor and attempted unlawful contact with a minor have been filed against 42-year-old Matthew Uncles.
Lawrence Township Police say the local online sexual predator watchdog group 814 Pred Hunters provided them with messages Uncles had exchanged with a member of their group, but whom Uncles thought was a teenage boy.
Following his preliminary hearing Wednesday, Uncles was returned to the Clearfield County Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
