DUBOIS – Multiple assault charges have been filed against a Clearfield County man for threatening water authority employees with a loaded crossbow.
State Police say 43-year-old Tyler Smith of Grampian is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, and terroristic threats following last week’s incident.
When the victims attempted to deliver a yearly payment book to Smith’s Bloom Township home, Smith allegedly came out of his garage with a loaded crossbow, ran towards their vehicle and threatened to kill them if they got out of their truck.
Charges against Smith have been filed in District Court.
