CLEARFIELD – Charges of burglary, criminal trespass, and assault have been filed against a Clearfield County man.
According to court documents, 51-year-old Justin Welker of Woodland is accused of breaking into a Clearfield apartment where his estranged wife was staying, and assaulting a man.
The victim reported to police that Welker broke through a locked door early Monday morning and began punching him in the head and face. The woman in the apartment told police that she is Welker’s wife, but they have been separated for a year.
Following his arraignment, Welker posted a $50,000 bail bond, and he was released.
