Clearfield County man charged with fleeing police in Morris Township

Morris Township, PA – A Clearfield County man is facing charges after fleeing from police.

30-year-old Matthew Mills from Hawk Run had been driving his Mazda Tribute around 7:19 Friday evening whenever State Police from Clearfield attempted to pull him over for a traffic violation.

Mills fled at a high rate of speed, going for about two miles from Oak Grove Road and Morrisdale Allport Highway in Morris Township.

He was caught and identified. Charges are still pending.

There’s no word yet on why Mills fled.
