CLEARFIELD – A 22-year-old Clearfield County man is facing charges of assault and harassment for allegedly attacking another man at a Pike Township camp.
State Police say Mason Guelich of Curwensville is accused of punching and stomping the victim during a fight over an alleged sexual assault.
Witnesses report that the victim confronted Guelich at the camp and began to argue.
When they went outside, Guelich allegedly punched the other man in the face and then stomped on his head while he was on the ground.
The victim suffered a concussion, a deep cut requiring staples, and a broken temple bone.
Following his arraignment Saturday, Guelich was released on $100,000 unsecured bail.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 15th.
