CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield County man was arrested last week after he drove to the Lawrence Township Police station with a child in the car, and it was discovered that he was drunk at a level nearly four times the legal limit.
Police say 41-year-old Christopher Yatsko came to the police station in Lawrence Township for fingerprinting, and officers quickly noticed Yatsko showing signs of being drunk and smelling of alcohol.
A breath test showed that Yatsko’s blood-alcohol level was .31.
The legal limit is .08.
Yatsko was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and DUI.
He is currently being held in the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Police also report that the child was not harmed during the incident and was picked up and taken away safely by a relative.
