CLEARFIELD – It took less than an hour of deliberation for a Clearfield County jury to return a guilty verdict on a man charged with aggravated assault, strangulation, and disorderly conduct.

According to court documents, the jury convicted 45-year-old Gary Quick of physically attacking a Chester Hill man and driving a car into him last August. A State Police investigation revealed that Quick allegedly assaulted the victim because he wouldn’t allow Quick to enter a house. The victim suffered injuries to his neck, chest, and elbow due to Quick’s attack. Clearfield County District Attorney Ryan Sayers said Quick will likely be sentenced to a minimum of five years in jail.

For now, Quick is being held in the county jail with his bail set at $75,000
