DUBOIS — Clearfield County President Judge Frederic Ammerman has made permanent an injunction which prevents the City of DuBois from buying out suspended Manager Herm Suplizio’s contract.

The judge made his decision Monday morning after Suplizio’s attorney withdrew his objection to the injunction.

The city withdrew its objections to the injunction on Friday.

The injunction is the result of legal action filed by three DuBois residents in August.

It is preventing DuBois City government from making any additional payments to Suplizio.

It also prevents any pension distributions to Suplizio, or additional contributions to his pension fund.

Suplizio has been charged by the Pennsylvania Attorney General of making more than $550,000 in fraudulent transactions with public funds connected with the City of DuBois, the DuBois Area United Way, and the DuBois Volunteer Fire Department.
