HomeLocal NewsClearfield County Jail inmates receive greater access to healthcareClearfield County Jail inmates receive greater access to healthcareThu, July 14, 2022 by Louise BennettSHARE NOW Clearfield – Clearfield County Jail inmates will soon have greater access to healthcare services under an agreement signed Tuesday.The Clearfield County Commissioners contracted with Prime Care Medical Inc. of Harrisburg to provide the jail’s physician and nursing services.The three-year deal will cost Clearfield County nearly $317,000 each year.The Commissioners’ office reports that Prime Care Medical will provide the full-time services of a health services administrator, as well as a second full-time LPN and a part-time physician, physician’s assistant or CRNP.Prime Care already provides its services for the Jefferson County Jail.
