Clearfield County government offices to receive security upgrade

Clearfield – The buildings that house Clearfield County’s government offices will be getting a security upgrade.

At their Tuesday meeting, the Clearfield County Commissioners approved the purchase and installation of a panic button alarm system for the courthouse, administrative offices, and annex.

Mass notification capability through computer popups and text messages is also part of the upgrade.

The project will cost more than $66,000, and it will be fully reimbursed by the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts.
