PIKE TWP. – A Clearfield County woman was reportedly scammed out of $6,000 through a texting app.
According to State Police, a 74-year-old Curwensville woman told them she sent four gift cards, valued at 15-hundred dollars each, to an unknown suspect posing as a delivery business.
The woman said that four packages were supposed to be delivered, but none of them showed up.
State Police are continuing to investigate.
