BRISBIN – An elderly man has lost over $10,000 dollars in a Facebook dog scam.
According to State Police, a 67 year-old man was in contact with the Facebook group “Teacup Poodle Puppies for Rehoming” trying to purchase one.
The report goes on to say that he made multiple gift card payments over a two-month period to the group totaling $10,850 dollars.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
