Clearfield County continues several road, bridge maintenance projects this week

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County’s road and bridge maintenance crews are continuing several projects this week, according to PennDOT.

Be alert to road patching work in Sandy Township on Route 830 where crews may implement short-term lane closures.

Paving work has started on Route 879 in Curwensville Borough between Bloomington Avenue and Greenville Pike.

That project is exepected to continue this week and next week, weather permitting.

Also, a pipe replacement and cleaning project is continuing on Irishtown Road in Bloom and Penn townships through Friday.

PennDOT also expected vegetation management projects both along Route 255 and the Oklahoma-Salem Road in Sandy Township the next few days.

Most of the work is planned between 7am and 3pm, but PennDOT reminds you that crews could be working at any time of the day or night.
