Clearfield County Commissioners swear in new member

CLEARFIELD – The Board of Clearfield County Commissioners is full again.

Mary Tatum of Houtzdale was officially sworn in Monday as the replacement for Tony Scotto who resigned in September.

Tatum was appointed by President Judge Fredric Ammerman, and she will complete Scotto’s term which ends December 31st, 2023.

Tatum is currently the director of Clearfield County’s Child Advocacy Center.

She has a Doctorate and Master’s degree in public administration as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in human development and family studies.

With the selection of Tatum, the county now has commissioners from DuBois, Clearfield, and the Moshannon Valley.
