DUBOIS – A DuBois area Family, Youth and Family Services worker is facing extortion charges after allegedly using her position to get money from clients.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, 39 year-old Crystal Miller allegedly attempted to extort money and other financial benefits from clients while working as an official case worker for the Clearfield County CYS.
They also say that Miller allegedly threatened custodial rights of children, and they could be taken away if they did not comply with her requests.
Miller is now facing theft by extortion charges.
