HomeFeel-Good/EventsClearfield and Lawrence Township residents preview new Regional Police CommissionClearfield and Lawrence Township residents preview new Regional Police CommissionFri, October 28, 2022 by Louise BennettSHARE NOW Clearfield – Clearfield and Lawrence Township residents gathered for a preview of their new Regional Police Commission at a town hall meeting at Lock Haven’s Clearfield campus Wednesday night.Chief Vincent McGinnis provided details of the consolidated police force structure which will include a chief, assistant chief, four sergeants, two school resource officers, 16 patrol officers, a detective, and a secretary.The Regional Police Commission will operate out of the Lawrence Township Municipal Building and serve the entire area of Clearfield Borough and Lawrence Township which will be divided into four zones.The new consolidated force is expected to begin operations in January 2023.
