CLEARFIELD COUNTY – Clearfield and Elk counties will soon be working together to form a joint county comprehensive plan.
According to the Clearfield and Elk counties’ planning departments, the two municipalities will be working to form a comprehensive plan with strategic goals for the future economic growth of these communities.
The planning departments also say that this plan will put both counties in a better position to receive state and federal funding.
Throughout the project, county officials say they will hold public meetings and conduct surveys to address various topics such as transportation, infrastructure and the environment.
