Clarion man faces assault and harassment charges after heated argument in Brookville

BROOKVILLE – A 30-year-old man faces charges of assault, harassment, and terroristic threats following a heated argument with his mother and another woman in Brookville.

Police report that Tyler Gabler of Clarion allegedly spit in the faces of both women and threatened to “smash” his mother’s face and kill the other woman.

According to court documents, Gabler said he was angry over comments his mother made about him and his girlfriend.

The incident took place at a house on Hasting Street in Brookville.

Gabler is currently free on $20,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing next Wednesday.
