Clarion, PA – According to the Butler Health System, Clarion Hospital is treating two patients who are suspected of having COVID-19.
The press release says both patients are being treated in their Intensive Care Unit.
The PA Department of Health says, as of their noon report on Wednesday, there are 1,127 confirmed cases in Pennsylvania, and there have been 11 deaths statewide due to the virus.
As of now, there are two confirmed cases in Clearfield County, and none have been confirmed yet in Jefferson or Elk Counties. Results have not come in for many tests, however, and that number is expected to increase.
Although the Pennsylvania Department of Health map does not show any current cases for Clarion County as of Wednesday’s noon report, it is expected to be updated today to reflect the accurate totals.
