Clarington Man Facing Burglary Charges

NEW BETHLEHEM – A Clarington man is facing felony burglary charges after allegedly breaking into a gaming machine and stealing money.

On August 24th police were notified of a theft at a 237 Broad Street business.

Surveillance showed a man, later identified as 47 year-old Jason Fenney, entering the establishment and attempting to cash out winnings from a gaming machine. After discovering the machine was empty, he allegedly broke into another machine and stole the money box inside.

When questioned, Fenney denied being at the business.

He is now facing multiple charges including felony burglary.
