DUBOIS – The 2023 budget for the City of DuBois will not contain a tax increase. That was the main topic of discussion at the City Council meeting last night.
In other business, a major water line break was reported yesterday along the B-Line, Route 255. The broken line is over 100 years old. Water service has been restored to all customers except for one business.
Also, the City of DuBois has received a $2.5 million grant to assist with the construction of two new fire companies, as well as provide updates to the Administration building and to the police department.
