DUBOIS – The City of DuBois held a press conference yesterday to discuss the incident that occurred Thursday night on South Avenue in DuBois.
On Thursday night, DuBois City Police say they received a call to conduct a welfare check on an individual when they discovered toxic fumes.
After identifying the fumes as hydrogen sulfide and with help from the Altoona Fire Department, the scene was cleared by 1:40 a.m.
Clearfield County Coroner Kim Snyder Shaffer said due to the nature of the call, she would not be releasing any information about the individual.
