BIG RUN – A Sobriety Checkpoint in Big Run has issued 13 citations over a five hour period.
According to State Police, they set up a sobriety checkpoint in Big Run on September 19th for approximately five hours. During that time, police came in contact with 65 drivers, issuing 64 written warnings and 13 citations filed.
Police set up these checkpoints to remove impaired drivers from the roadways.
