Charges Placed for High Speed Chase

ST. MARYS – A St. Marys man is facing charges after allegedly leading police on a high speed chase twice in the same day.

According to police, on August 31st, an unknown individual lead police on a high speed chase starting on Grotzinger Road careening through several other city streets.

The individual did manage to elude police, however, on September 9th 26 year-old Hunter Meyer turned himself in for the incident.

The passenger of the vehicle, 28 year-old Kari Armstrong, is also facing charges for not turning Meyer in.
