CLEARFIELD – The CEO of Mature Resources Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging has been appointed to a statewide council on elder care.
Kathleen Gillespie received a four-year appointment to the Pennsylvania Long-Term Council by Governor Tom Wolf.
The council operates under the state’s Department of Aging and makes recommendations on regulations, licensing, and financing relating to Pennsylvania’s long-term services and supports system.
Gillespie has been serving as CEO of the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging since 2012.
Commenting on her appointment, Gillespie said that senior care has been her passion for her entire career, and that having the opportunity to serve on the state level to help improve care for all seniors in Pennsylvania is truly an honor.
