FALLS CREEK – A Centre County man is behind bars after allegedly sexually assaulting a Falls Creek young boy.
According to police, 19 year-old Steven McGovern sexually abused a young boy in early February.
During an interview with the victim, he stated that since January 5th McGovern had forced himself on the victim multiple times.
In late march McGovern allegedly admitted to police that he performed sexual acts on the victim, however he did not admit to all of the accusations.
He is now facing multiple felony charges related to the alleged sexual assault and is currently in the Jefferson County Jail.
