TREASURE LAKE – September 22nd marks the first day of the Fall season and the Treasure Lake community celebrated it with style, holding a Fall Festival.
Hosted by the Treasure Lake POA and Treasure Lake Church, hundreds dove into the new season with hayrides, horseback riding, pumpkin and face painting, and festive foods.
According to Cathy Donahue with the Treasure Lake Church, this annual event typically sees hundreds of people flooding Treasure Lake to embrace the Fall spirit.
“I absolutely love it,“ explained Donahue. “As I see a lot of smiles on faces, I know a lot of people but there’s people that I don’t know so I meet them. And it’s really just a nice opportunity for us to show the love of God.”
The free event let the community celebrate with free food and drinks, hay rides, horse rides, pumpkin and face painting, and many activities for children like the corn pool.
