
CLEARFIELD – A driver experiencing a medical emergency led to their vehicle going into a river in Clearfield Monday morning.
According to the Clearfield Regional Police Department, a driver and passenger were driving near Park Place at around 11:15am when the driver experienced a medical emergency.
The incident led to the vehicle driving head first into the Susquehanna River. The driver and passenger were able to free themselves before being transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
Police also said a witness, who was plowing snow at the time, reported hearing a loud noise before seeing the vehicle go airborne into the river.
