Budget Hearings Continue in Harrisburg This Week

HARRISBURG – This week in Harrisburg, the Appropriations Committee of Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives will continue it’s review of Governor Josh Shapiro’s $48.3 billion budget proposal for the upcoming fiscal year.

Last week, hearings were conducted with the Department of State , the departments of Health and Drug and Alcohol Programs, and the Department of Environmental Protection.

This week, the final week of hearings, will include sessions with the Department of Transportation, the Pennsylvania State Police, the departments of Education and Human Services, and then the governor’s Budget Office.
