BROOKVILLE – Brookville High School Students hosted the annual “Wheelers and Dealers” event Wednesday, giving students a hands-on experience in economics and marketing.

With ideas like pet rocks, decor items, handmade sports cards, and holiday themed snacks, this event allowed students to design and sell original products to other students and community members. An effort that economics teacher Nancee Miles says gives them a hands-on approach enhancing their economic skills and competing for the top business.

“Every year they surprise me with what their going to create, and how well it’s going to go,“ explained Miles. “This year was exceptional, this was a great group of students. They had some really unique products, they had really high sales.”

This event allowed students to experience both the rewards and difficulties of mass production and marketing, all proceeds were given to the senior class fundraiser.
